Can someone let me know the reason(s) why Ruby reject the offer to act in Part 3 of 'Huang Zhu Ge Ge'? Did she offend the author or hate acting with Zhou Jie? Though Part 3 serial has been shown on TV with new cast, I would like to know the reason as I did not keep track with the entertainment news. How about Vicki Zhou, Alex Su and the actor who acted as Emperor? What were their reasons for declining to act in this serial? Thanks.  |

A: Ruby & Alec did not reject HZGG3. Ruby was excited & waiting for the filming to start, but 9/11 happened & the author (Qiong Yao) stopped writing. So Ruby & Alec signed on for other projects (can't expect them to sit around & wait for her). Ruby signed on for "Ban Sheng Yuan". When Qiong Yao decided to continue w/ the writing & shooting was to begin, it was too late for Ruby & Alec b/c their projects started around the same time also.
The heck w/ HZGG3, watch Ruby's Ban Sheng Yuan instead.
Q. Did she offend the author or hate acting with Zhou Jie?
A. NO to both questions. No such thing.
Q. How about Vicki Zhao or the emperor?
A. She's the one who rejected the offer to play Xiao Yanzi. Her reason was she didn't want to repeat the role again. She wants to be in films & become an international star & have other higher aspirations. As to the emperor, I'm not too sure. I guess he was busy also or something.

gosh im disapointed by vicki... she shot to stardom with little swallow.. and i really wanted to see her in huan zhu ge ge 3.... and it would have been good if alec and ruby could act in this third series.. as well.. but they didnt.. sighs.. wished that i could see them in it.. but at least there is er kang and qing er..

Not to add any spice to this topic but it's really ironic when the perosn that rejects the role doesn't get bad news nor bash while the perosn that was happy and willing to take the role and could not get bash with news article saying that she caused Qiong Yao to get mad and she rejects Qiong Yao... etc... *sigh*
