Lin Hsinju Making Money is Most Important
East Week Weekly, 1/28/04
Pretty girl Lin Hsinju has been busy in China filming these last few years, rarely comes to Hong Kong. But, each time coming here always got photographed together w/ rumored boyfriend director Stanley Tong strolling or having meals. But, there are exceptions. Two weeks ago Donggu bumped into Hsinju in Saikung, this time there were tons of people surrounding her, w/ the exception of Stanley Tong not part of it.
Of course Donggu asked her why director Tong is not around! Turned out Hsinju had just finished shooting in Hainan Island & this time especially took two days from her schedule to shoot an advertisement for a China clothing brand. Arrived the night of 1/15/04, shot from 8:00am to sun down on the 16th, early next day have to go back to China to finish shooting the series, so as to make it home to Taiwan by New Year. The schedule was too tight, Hsinju loudly said, "No time to see friends"! Just friends? According to Donggu, there's definitely a reason why Hsinju was so "indifferent" to director Tong, w/ such a good pay from that million dollar advertisement, w/ time so short & tight, of course will listen to what the manufacturers said making money is the most important thing, can see the boyfriend next time!

1. Shooting took place in Saikung Long Ha Wan, in this desolate place only a piece of black cloth hung up was used as a dressing area. Even though the surroundings were so-so, Hsinju was in a very good mood, get along really well w/ the workers.
2. Don't think that productions from China are careless, the guy putting makeup on Hsinju is the big-time makeup/hair stylist exclusively used by Cecelia Cheung[we already know that Ruby & Cheung shared the same Hong Kong stylist
] we know that this isn't something small.
3. Because the location was so desolate, Hsinju worked for 10 hours & only had a meal from McDonald's to cure her stomach!
