Lin Hsinju "Flying Knife vs. Flying Knife" In Love With A Person She Shouldn't Love

Remembered some Hong Kong singer once sang a song, the song was called "Cuo Ai Ye Shi Ai". After all that's been said, if love comes from the heart, what mistakes are there to speak of? However, regardless of whether it's from real life, or in a fable or a story, after falling in love with a person one shouldn't love, is a tragedy in which all good[kind-hearted] people cannot avoid. "FK vs. FK" is a 40-episode series w/ an investment of more than Y$20M by Jiu Zhou Audio/Videos Publishing Co. The story goes like this: Jiangwu's mythical character Xiao Li Fei Dao, Li Xunxuan's grandson Li Huai. Although he has an aweinspiring family background unmatched by others, he lives the life of a drifter since childhood. This caused him to be rebellious, and at odds w/ his family. Even though everything his family own can offer him a happy, calm and steady life, he rather depend on his own ability, to seek his own position in the bloody world of Jiangwu. In an accidental opportunity, he changed a young girl Fang Keke and her father's way of life, & this Fang Keke deeply fell for him. Several years later, Fang Keke grows up, the two met again, naturally love developed. Too bad Fang Keke's temperament was wily & self-willed, & at this time Lin Xinru's "Yueshen"[<--moon goddess] Xue Caiyue appeared. Li Huai's love immediately inclined to another side.
Who would have imagined Lin Xinru's "Yueshen" Caiyue is Li Huai's family's enemy's daughter. Lin Xinru got close to him b/c wanted to take this opportunity to avenge her father's death. It's just that during the time spent w/ each other, Lin Xinru unconsciously was attracted to her enemy, Li Huai's charming personality. Unconsciously fallen in love with the son of her enemy. Unintentionally falling in love w/i a purposely arranged situation, a tragedy therefore begins.[meaning Ruby purposely got close to Chilam, but never thought she would love him]
So-called "Yueshen", in China's ancient fable, it represented god of death. The sun is life, the moon hence is death. How will Yueshen Xinru send the person she loves to his doom?
On mentioning Lin Xinru, everybody is familiar w/ her, counting each one of the roles she has played in, her sweet beautiful dimple has been implanted in the audiences' mind. Since her debut, Lin Hsinju has been playing roles that are innocent, adorable, elegant, & pretty "jade girl" image. Although in "Only You" she played an innocent girl who was always laughing & joking, the audience's greatest memory of Lin Xinru, still remains w/ HZGG. This time, in Jiu Zhou's "Flying Knife vs.[or Sees] Flying Knife", Lin Xinru puts away her consistent smiling face, her eyes revealing a vision of desire to kill.
"Yueshen" Caiyue is an assassin. Although has a deep love, an assassin's responsibility is he cannot give up his mission b/c of love. Between love & vengeance, Xinru's choice has become the serial's biggest contradiction. And how will Xinru, as Yueshen, facing love & hate, choose which course to follow?
A good work always show the progress of an actor w/ potential. To Lin Hsinju, Jiu Zhou's "Flying Knife vs.[or Sees] Flying Knife" w/o a doubt is such a work. Although hate was "Yueshen's" reason for learning martial arts & entering the world of Jiangwu, avenging her father's death was a goal, but unexpected love had her at a loss as to how to proceed. The boundary b/w love & hate has always been difficult to differentiate, love arising from hate will leave a person w/ eternal gratitude[love will always be deeply inscribed in their hearts]. Regarding this role, Lin Xinru smiled & said : "I never had such experience[feelings], I hope I don't have such feelings in my life again. Love & hate are both extremes. But the difference is, love is good & desirable, hate actually makes a person feel helpless. Love w/ hate[at the same time], is a very painful thing."
