Taiwan/Korean big drama "Zi Teng Lian" w/ a huge cast of five male leads & three female leads, how will the personalities of each characters be displayed, wardrobe/design image is definetely to thank for "adding life"[to the characters]. HJS displayed the utra self-confidence of S. Koreans, prepared different outfits to display his "won't be outdone by others" thinking. HJS said: "In the series, I play the son of the owner of a vineyard, his taste must standout, suits are my standard attire, but a suitable tie definitely can add points to the effect." For this point, HJS brought in half of his tie collection to Taiwan, this half has as many as 150!

Lin Hsinju is extremely surprised by HJS's earnestness, hurrying to remind everybody that, actually she also is very seriouly arranging her accoutrements, "I play a rather neutral type of a woman, therefore I went all over Taipei's retail stores's junior's department, for the purpose of looking for the appropriate junior's [young girl's] clothing." After saying that, Lin Hsinju embarrassedly smiled: "But, it was very hard to find, b/c I have left that young girl era for a very long time already!" ;D

To make an idol series, other than males being handsome females being pretty, surrounding materials must also let the audience feel pleasant. Like "Zi Teng Lian" w/ a romantic vineyard as its backdrop, actors Han Jae Suk, Huang Weide, Shi Yinan, Lin Hsinju & Yin Yue are good sells, they all spent a great deal of time dealing w/ their accoutrements for the series.

HJS's fee for making "Zi" is U.S. $10,000 per episode, he did not skip out in the areas of managing his attire. Just the shirts & ties alone he brought from Korean totaled nearly 150. But, faced w/ a major change in his family, HJS does not always "waste money", he once disclosed that he also wears cheap $200(<--TW money?) stuff. This time when the staff members helped him to inspect his luggage, they discovered the suits were mostly upscale name brands, like BOSS, PRADA, the shirts may/may not be[brand names], & his principle for his purchases is, "whatever makes him look handsome".

Lin Hsinju starts out in the series growing up in an orphanage, the script had her acting boyish. As a result, Hsinju went home & rummaged through her closets & discovered that the clothes she has are quite in-style, or perhaps romantic, pretty looking ones. So before the start of the shoot, she had to run out to the department stores' junior's section to "stock up". Lin Hsinju smiled & said: "I haven't been in a junior's section for a very long time now." Generally speaking, junior's clothing prices are b/w $580-$2380, Lin Hsinju bought $50,000 to $60,000. Her staff said: "Right now the orphanage scenes are about to be finished, she has to grow into a woman, but a lot of the new clothes still have tags on them."
